Mar 29, 2006 Rather ugly brownish color (could have been the light) but with a great head. Sweet normal weizen and not one of my favorites.

Mar 28, 2006 mmm...i am drinking this right now in the lovely town of Essen, Deutschland. it’s a beautiful dark amber with nice little swirls of yeast in it. and of course, i poured it correctly. the head is sizeable and fairly white. it smells of ripe fruit and cloves, with some malt and grassyness in there. taste is similar, with LOTS of cloves, cinnamon, and banana, yum.

Jan 24, 2006 Bottled. Cloudy chestnut pour with an off-white head. Smells like the "normal" Paulaner Hefe, perhaps a bit sweeter. Also tastes like the "normal" Paulaner but with a shot of malt complexity. Can’t say this is necessary. Still, a good choice - delicious.

Jan 2, 2006 Dark amber colour, light brown, small white head. Sweet aomra, fruity, some banana? Little yeasty. Sweet taste, again some banana, finish is sweet malty.
