Aroma is best zoet, café frappe, marsepein en wat sinaasappel. Smaak gaat fijntjes door met de laatste twee van het aroma lijstje, nasmaak weinig. Is te vergelijken met half-om.

Pours a cloudy light brown colour with a two finger tan head. Quite sour aroma of light coffee, oak and some citric notes. Flavour as quite bitter, a bit sharper than many other dunkeld that tends to be a bit sweeter. Really refreshing dunkel.

Purchased at a grocery store in Eppingen, DE while on a recent work trip, enjoyed at my hotel room while bored. This stuff is exceptional. Appearance a murky, moderate brown with a thin white head that rims around the glass. Aroma is rich in caramel, clove, bit of roasted malt and wheat. Taste goes down dangerously smooth, it has a moderate sweetness from the caramel, but with a more complex profile mixing in with the aforementioned aroma ingredients. This is hands down one of the best Dunkel’s I’ve had, very happy to have enjoyed the style in the primary country. Would happily enjoy again.

500 mL bottle from Beers of Europe into a pint glass. Red brown with a nice creamy bubbly head. Smells nicely wheat, with just a hint of roast. Nice, light, a hint of caramel along with the wheat. Enjoyable.

East-European style tick - split some of this with Sebletitje whilst waiting for the train back home - drank most of this on the train - sharp caramel, bitter spice, almost roasted full malts, dark caramel, no iron I get sometimes from this German stuff, touch licorice, leaves, light smooth tobacco, herbs, full dark fruits, sweet but not over the top - quite a nice beer - reasonable slick body, not too light - certainly made the train ride easier

impressive white head, caramel-brownish colour. Quite a mild taste, light body and abrupt finish for a dark wheat beer, but still very enjoyable.

One of those classics you´re always able to drink. Yeasty and sweetish aromas, nice dark brown look and a big stable head. This Dunkelweizen is a bit more refreshing than other from that sort. Good beer.
