Not my kind of beer. The aroma is the best thing with this beer. The taste is aweful!

Bottle. Hazy light brown with a frothy head. Aroma of banana, clove, malt and caramel, plus hints of grass. Full body, taste on the sweet side of sourish because of the caramel, banana-clove taste and some milk chocolate in the aftertaste. Very smooth beer, a well deserved classic.

Lightly brown small head that disapears fast but leaves some lacing. Color is brown/caramel, natural cloudy. Amora is composed by caramel and fruity nutts. I dont perceive the hops. Sweet caramel well balanced beer. Medium body with medium carbonation. Aftertaste is of light hops

Bottle (500ml). Nice copper-brown pour with an ample frothy white head that laces. All the expected aromas of the style (strong caramel, bananas, bread, yeast and perhaps a hint of vanilla). Medium sweet taste but not cloying. A classic Bavarian Dunkelweizen with a nice chewy palate and lively mouthfeel.

Bottle from Csak a jó sör. Poured murky light-brown, with a massive tan head. Delicious aroma of banana, honey, citrus peel, caramel, cocoa, vanilla, yeast, somewhat nutty. Sweet taste, but only lightly. Medium bodied and carbonated. Sweet, dark fruity finish, with just a bit of hoppyness peaking it’s head out in the end.. Very nice!

.5l draft at BBF 2011. Strawberry brown. Sweet, dark fruit, wheat. Full, round sweet fruitiness, strawberry and raspberry. Wheaty grain, rich balance. Very tasty.

0.5l bottle @ Henrik, Bergen. Pours a cloudy dark dark brownish body with a big everlasting just off-white head. It’s aroma is light malty, not to extreme, hints of brown sugar and bread. Lively to average carbonation, medium-bodied and it has a light oily mouthfeeling. Tastes mild dark malty. Notes of yeast, cardboard and flowers. Ends mildly dry and quite alright.

Had this at a restaurant that’s been around since 1233. Pours a cloudy dark beige with a big frothy almond head. Aroma is big banana, big wheat. Fantastic. Taste is a big mouthfeel, loads of banana esters, slight caramel, lots of wheat and a hint of hop. Great, great beer.
