50 cl bottle @ Gastropub Praha. Rated on 02.06.2011
Aroma is a bit stale with banana, wheat, some hay and caramel. Feels a bit like sahti. Flavour has banana, wheat, yeast, bubblegum, some hay and hints of caramel. Some Sahti-like feeling here also. Decent.

Nice rich color, caramely. Nice 3 finger head on a Hefe glass. Smooth taste but a little plain. Nice aroma though, banana, spices, wheat. Lace sticks to glass nicely.

Bottle. Hazy brown colour. Aroma is mostly banana. Taste is quite near a blond hefe Weissbier. Maybe this has a bit more caramel flavour than a normal hefe.

A good, standard German hefe for my 600th rating on Christmas Eve. It’s ok, slight bananas in the nose. Decent.

Bottle @ Dan’s house delivered from Denmark by Anker’s friend Rune. He was stunned that I requested this beer. Fuck I love my German wheat beers. Cloudy reddish brown appearance with a tan head. Spicy yeasty, cinnamon, moderate clove, banana, a touch roasty, wheat malty aroma. Fairly spicy, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, toasty malty, wheat malty, banana flavor. Tasty but I actually think I prefer Hacker-Pschorr and Weihenstephaner’s counterparts better.

A very pleasant surprise for people who prefer "normal" Weissbiers. While many Dunkelweizens lose their lighter counterpart’s zestyness in exchange for a smoother finish, this Dunkel retains the best of both worlds.

0,5 liter bottle at home. Muddy, sparkling, orange-amber with a small, creamy, tan colored head. Caramel, malts, ripe banana, clove and wood on the nose. Toasted, sweet, light acidic and bitter with banana notes and spices in the end. Medium body. Over-carbonated.

0,5l bottle from Csakajósör, Budapest. Lightbrown hazy beer with big rocky head. Sweet honey aroma of the malt and the yeast. Citrus because of the hops. Light sweet taste with a small taste of the brown malt. Medium body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Light finish. Nice beer, but the normal Paulaner Hefe-Weissbier is better.
