Has a hazy amber colour. Huge light brown head, that last. Aroma is typical wheat. Banana and malts. The flavour isn’t as distinct as I’ve seen in other wheats. Flavour is yeasty. Has a pleasant aftertaste, that has a medium durability. Quite nice wheat.

A good weizen. Dark almost muddy in color. Nice fruity nose. There is a definite malted wheat flavor noticed. Finish is dry and slightly malty. Good stuff.

I love Paulaner, they really know how to do wheat right. This is a great, slightly toastier version of their Hefeweizen which I highly recommend. You will find it a bit thicker and more flavorful than either Schneider Weisse or Franziskaner.

I’m not a big fan of Hefe-weizen beer but this dunkel was pretty good. the flavor and aroma were sweet and appetizing. the color was a cloudy golden amber and the head was thick, as it should be. A good wheat beer.

This beer really decribes the Bavarian region of Germany!! This style of beer, is only popular in this region.

UPDATED: APR 29, 2009 Dark brown coloured, big brown head. Aroma of wheat and malts. Relatively thin mouthfeel, some caramel. Not that interesting compared to the competition.

Dark cloudy brown. To keep it simple - it tasted exactly like it should! :-) Except that it could be a hint more malty. Light bodied, bubbly.
