Ungstrup (11075), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 12, 2003 An unclear dark amber beer with a great head. The aroma is a powerful wheat aroma and somewhat sweet. The flavor is a really nice round wheat flavor. Great for a wheat beer. omhper (10438), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 2, 2003 Bottled. Muddy orange-brown with creamy, lively head. Medium estery banana aroma. Sweet and lightly roasty with notes of vanilla. Banana finish. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 2, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) If appearance was everything this beer would be in trouble - serious trouble: greyish brown, hazy or rather muddy - Chinese river-water. Malty and soft with a gigantic head. But less fresh, fruity and citrusy than the typical Hefeweizen. 190100 Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Nov 1, 2002 Updated: Dec 7, 2004Draught, Paulaner Beer Garden, Bangkok
Opaque chestnut colour. Aroma of banana, toast, milk chocolate, brown sugar. Sweet palate shows a slightly nutmeggy banana flavour with bready notes and sweaty yeast. yespr (6259), Copenhagen O, Denmark Feb 3, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with a dense white head. Mild malty and wheaty/fruity aroma. Classic wheat flavour swept in a nice bed of caramel malt flavours which take out most of the banana and bubblegum notes. Ends with a mild malt lingering flavour.
