~Clove and banana in scent. Clove dominates. ~Pours a cloudy gold with rich creamy white head. ~Flavor of yeast, clove, and bananna. ~Creamy feel, sweet dry finish. ~Good German Hefeweizen.

12oz. Poured into a Warßteiner hefe-glass. Pours hazy orange, smallish white head. Wheaty aroma. Banana flavor, pretty straightforward. Flavor isn’t earth shattering, but the texture and mouthfeel of this beer may be the most enjoyable I’ve ever had. Good German beer.

Nice dark, cloudy colour with white head that lasted long enough. Nice fruity aroma. Taste was less so and was in fact rather bland. A bit malty here and a bit fruity there, also tasted a bit of spices and wheat but nothing special. Not great, there are better wheat beers available.

Poured with a nice, thick creamy, slightly off-white head with decent retention. Color was straw with a hint of orange, about 6-8 L. Cloudy appearance. Faint yeasty aroma with a hint of spice. Smooth, slightly acidic taste; fairly dry with a hint of yeast. Didn’t taste the clove or banana esters that are usually indicative of this style. Not much of an aftertaste; not particularly bitter, either. Decent mouthfeel; not highly carbonated. Overall, not bad, but fairly "meh" and unremarkable. A squeeze of lemon didn’t really improve the taste, but it didn’t hurt it either.

Bottled. Pale straw colour. hazy (sure), good head which is not lasting so much time. Flat caramelly palate (plus cloves and bananas). Nothing special.

Tap at Old Chicago. Cloudy orange color, not much head. Faint wheat/yeast aroma. Sweet tangy, slightly citrus flavor. Light mouthfeel, smooth fruity finish. Excellent hefeweizen.

One of my very favorite beers. Wheat with strong citrus. Extremely smooth and great texture.
