Bottle courtesy of tupalev - thanks, Jeff! Hard to believe I’ve never gotten around to rating this one. Hazy golden-orange with a ridiculously large white head. Big hefe aroma with a nice citrus edge. Full bodied with a creamy middle and a crisp finish. Flavour is bang-on for the style. Finish is a bit sweeter than some, but still, this is a great example that I enjoyed immensely.

Had a small sample of this at Gingerman’s in SoNo, CT. Overall a solid hefe.. I am more partial to Weinhenstephan but this was good.

From bottle. Pours a vibrant golden amber. Aroma of wheat, citrus, and spices. Flavor is initially sweet, with spices and wheat. Finishes mild with orange notes. Flavors linger pleasantly in your mouth, sweet and mild. Very good.

Absolutely Brillliant Hefeweiss. I had this in a pub (Bukowski’s) in Back Bay Boston. The waitress made a special point to leave the yeast at the bottom of the bottle and then return a few minutes later after the head settled to finishing pouring the end of the beer plus yeast. Delicious, refreshing taste. I taste fresh grass in the brew with a hint of citrus. Highly recommended.

A great example of this style. One of the most refreshing and fruity without being over the edge in terms of sweetness. I was very surprised at how good this was compared to how I thought it was going to be.

On draft at the Yard House in Las Vegas. Great hefe characters with subtle notes of fruit (citrus). Great for a 100 degree night!
