Ahhh... Those guys at this brewery know their stuff. Excellent Hefe Weiss! Has all teh classic hallmarks of the quintessential bavarian weiss beer. Pours with a nice white fine head and good lace. Typical cloudy yellowish amber color. Good sharp tang and carbonation. All the traditional esters in this kind of beer. Easily a session beer. Very clean pleasant finish. I’ve been drinking this for many years and I believe that it’s actually improved over time. Having a mug a this at Bodega Brew Pub downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin. USA

Pretty good hef. Poured a nice unfiltered gold with plenty of head. Smooth and more mild than most in this catagory. Aroma of wheat malt and bananas led to a crisp refreshing flavor and equally subtle finish

Masterful. Highly fruit and banana nose, with that ever inviting bubblegum scent as well. It’s appearance is solid, with a decent cloudy body and nice head. It’s flavor is sweet fruit, banana, vanilla perhaps, and definitely bubblegum like. I can’t say anything, but smooooth and refreshing. Awesome!

First time I’ve tried this German Wheat Beer. It is a very light blonde colour with a frothy white head. Doesn’t seem as cloudy as other wheat beers. A noticeable fruity aroma. I found it tasted more like a lager and might appeal to first-time wheat beer drinkers. When I looked for it in the aftertaste, I could notice the bananas.

Re-rate 9/16/08. Sampled on draft. Pours a hazy yellow color with a thick fluffy white head. Bananas, cloves, yeast, slightly creamy, and a little spice. Nicely done. Palate is full enough. Crisp and refreshing. A very good hefe.

(cleaning out my beer bottle collection as pictured in my profile and utilizing ratebeer.com) As I recall, this is a classic fruity wheat beer. Nice banana colored with a traditional hefeweizen head.
