Mar 4, 2008 Good hefe, has a citrusy aroma with about a one-inch white head. Tastes of wheat, citrus, and some banana notes. Has a mildly bitter finish and is good on a hot day.

Mar 1, 2008 A good wheat, to be sure...to me, it’s among the small handful that ’set the standard’ for the category. Sweet, bready, not overbearing, apparent and not overly-complex flavors, and above all, very very drinkable.
Pours a hazy light gold with a good size somewhat lingering head. The carbonation is very apparent. The aroma is typical of a wheat...bready, with bananas and apple pie/clove spices with just a faint hint of citrus, mostly grapefruit.
The taste is straightforward, and much like the aroma. Very bready with hints of banana and a citrus taste that is more predominant than in the aroma. The clove/spice taste is reserved for the finish, which is relatively bitter, dry, and clean.

Mar 1, 2008 A pretty standard, all around well-done Hefe. Basically all that you could want in a hefe, banana, clove, yeasty goodness. I don’t really know what else to say without feeling a bit redundant. Quite fruity and a king-sized stein is pretty filling! The yeast adds almost a weird dry touch in the finish, which is something I haven’t experienced before in any wheat beer. Maybe that was just from the sheer amount of the stuff that I had.
