fro2218 (466), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Oct 26, 2007 A lot of banana and a little clove. Pretty sweet and like banana bread, yeasty. Some citrus and bread also. malfino (20), pinzano, Italy Oct 24, 2007 I agree fully with silo31- one of the best hefeweizen beers ive tried so far. Yet i wouldnt give such a high rating as bottled beer cant reach the quality of freshly drafted beer drunk in germanys capital city of beer. coldbrewky (716), Saugerties, New York, USA Oct 23, 2007 Pours a cloudy orange with a strong nose of bananna corriander and citrus. A good leveling of hops in the medium to light body. Legs are top lined and not complex. Images of Alpine chalets and moutain lakes appear out of nowhere. I need some bratwurst and some pretzels! JLAudio (282), Crestwood, Illinois, USA Oct 23, 2007 Poured a semi-cloudy yellow with nice head. The nice aromas of banana, clove, and wheat were strong. The flavors were typical again, with strong banana, clove, and even a slight vanilla note. It wasn’t as thick as I like it; so the mouthfeel was just a bit off for me. OldMrCrow (1179), Seattle, Washington, USA Oct 18, 2007 Bottle.
Pours cloudy light yellow with a nice fluffy head. Cloves and banana esters as expected both in the aroma and flavor, gently sweet, adequately sour, straight-forward but enjoyable. mmmbeer (737), Austin, Texas, USA Oct 17, 2007 Bottle- Poured a cloudy yellow, nice head formation, aroma of wheat and a little fruit, mmm. Hits the mouth with a small-meduim wheat body that tails off towards the finish, nice fruit notes. Very drinkable, just keep that lemon away because I like drinking it without! smartlung (154), Valrico, Florida, USA Oct 16, 2007 this is pretty classic. typical cloudy yellow color with citrus aroma. Just really tasty - it doesnt get old! silo31 (8), USA does not count Oct 14, 2007 One of the best Hefeweizen’s in the world. Cloudy yellow/orange color with great cirtusy aroma. Pour it into a tradiitonal hefeweizen glass for best taste.
