ElGaucho56 (386), USA Sep 17, 2007 Pours hazy golden orange with a bubbly head, zesty lemon, wheat sweetness on the nose, velvety body with slight sweetness and just a touch of hops in the finish. Probably the smoothest hefe-weizen around. joverton85 (80), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA Sep 16, 2007 tap. served incorrectly, however still good. very sweet and fruity breakfast beer. goes well with pizza. mpreston (10), Garland, Texas, USA Sep 15, 2007 Bottle. great beer, best Hefeweisen ive had. Flavor is execellent. Orange cloudy pour. BigMilly8 (374), Holiday, Florida, USA Sep 15, 2007 From Draught :A medium light amber color with small deminishing white head. Aroma of Lemons and spices. Tastes Malty in the beginning with a semi bitter ending. Thin on the palate. lunchbox582 (22), St. Clair Shores, Michigan, USA Sep 15, 2007 Poured from a bottle found at Shores Inn, SCS, MI. Great hazy golden color with a nice white head. The wheat was not as noticeable as I thought it would be, which was a plus. Aroma was lightly of banana, but the taste not so much. I liked this beer. Not much else to say but that. cryfreedmb (112), Ocean, New Jersey, USA Sep 14, 2007 Updated: Nov 21, 2007Pours a deep hazy yellow. Excellent aroma which includes a ton of wheat and spice. Goes down smooth and has a nice sweet aftertaste.
Ya know what, I had this beer a few more times and I really don’t like the flavor. It’s sour; almost taste like vomit. Sorry. Miksu (2194), Jyväskylä, Finland Sep 14, 2007 0.5 l bottle. Hazy yellow to brown color with decent head. Refreshing and balaced aroma with clove, banana, bread and smoke. Grainy and oily taste with appriate amount of clove and banana. Tart fruity finish. wcampbell (572), Central, South Carolina, USA Sep 14, 2007 I completely disagree with the consensus rating. This beer is watery and one sided. The taste is dominated by wheat with some yeast flavor. Very light bodied and watery. Easily drinkable but too weak.
