Grapefruity aroma with notes of yeast, and some wheaty sweetness. Taste is sweetish wheat dominated by tart grapefruit with notes of yeast, coriander, and soap. Milky, muddy mouthfeel. Aftertaste is bitter grapefruit. Very nice! A refreshing, clean weizen. (0.5l bottle.) BMan1113VR (2980), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 10, 2004 Pours with a thick, white, fugaceous head and a cloudy golden color. Low carbonation. Very appealing aroma of citrus and spices. Nice flavors, very spicy, fruity and sweet. It has the palate of a wheat beer (of course), light and smooth. All in all, it’s a nice, enjoyable beer. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 26, 2007 This beer is a cloudy amber/straw color with a thick and foamy white head that dissipates slowly. Patchy lacing. Aromas of citrus, wheat and clove dominate. Medium body with a nice array of flavors. Wheat, grainy malt, banana and spices are all intermingled with an underlying tartness. The finish is yeast and bananas followed by a light hops aftertaste. Pretty good all around. skortila (2915), Bunnik, Netherlands
