Sweeter than I expected, this is still an attractive and refreshing Hefe-Weissbier. Started drinking it with a warm meal, not a good idea - much better on its own or with a light snack. Enormous long-lasting head, pleasant but not very strong aroma. Flavour has all the good elements a beer of this style should have, a bit too sweet though. Rerate: Sweetness does not come through quite as much this time. Lovely aroma. A good hefe!

Bottle; Poured a dark gold, almost orange color; small to medium white head. Aroma of bananas/yeast, cloves and apples. Refreshing and crisp. Some acidity. Flavor was very subdued to me; Flavor of banana and yeast, a small amount of spice, and some fruity esters. Good, but have enjoyed others in the style more.

Not much to say...the most generic wheat beer around...the Budweiser of wheats...

I had this on draught at Stone's 7th anniversary party. Appearance: To the surprise of no one, the hefeweizen goose-stepped into the glass as a cloudy yellow pour Aroma: The nose has banana and citrus notes. Taste: The flavor of this hefe is the typical crisp and refreshing found in a hefeweizen; it's just done better than most

It’s good, a little "light" for my taste if talking about weize Beers. But while eating a pretzel isn’t any bad.

Sampled from 12 oz bottle on 10/25/2006 at the Junedale Beer Klub meeting... Gold color and generous lacing. Light clove, banana, wheat, and yeast aroma and flavor. Very smooth and quite tasty! This is a very solid German Hefe! Need to revisit in the future...

A pretty standard German weisse. A bit yeasty and fruity. Well balanced.
