Aug 22, 2008 12oz bottle from Publix Supermarkets. Pours a hazy dark golden color with a massive foamy off-white head. Aroma is wheat, lemon-citrus, apple, banana, some subtle spice. Flavor is sweet and malty with grain, hay, yeast, citrus and spice notes. Generally light to medium body with a clean bready finish.

Jun 12, 2006 Hazy darker golden in color, huge white head. Aroma rather subdued rotten banana and yeatsy wheat. Flavor much the same with some fruit esters just hard to pinpoint. Re-rate in the future as I really don’t think this bottle is too fresh.

Jan 25, 2009 Bottle courtesy of GMCC2181 – Thanks Gabe! Pours a hazy peach with a one finger snow white head. The nose is sour wheat and spice. Taste is fruity bubble gum, malt and spice. Medium mouth feel. Nice refreshing brew. Thanks again G-Sizzle!

Aug 14, 2007 Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden body with a nice head. Low carbonation with the bubbles slowly dancing up. Aroma is of banan, cloves, light citrus. Flavor is lightly sweet, nicely crabonated, light banana flavor with some spices dancing on the tongue. Slightly dry.

Feb 2, 2002 Updated: Apr 12, 2008Bottled (thanks again mom). Cloudy golden/orange coloured, huge lasting white head. Strong aroma of banana and wheat, nice. Sweet flavour, wheat, fruity notes. Thick mouthfeel. Certainly good, but in the style i think Weihenstephaner and Franziskaner are superior.

Oct 14, 2005 After a long search, I’ve finally found this..... in a bar near my uni. Great. 0.33l bottle, drank from a Paulaner weissbier glass. Said 5.5%, but same thing probably. It poured an enormous, thick white head, gold/orange colour. Not as misty as some, but who cares. Well carbonated. The nose was spicy, with hints of bananas maybe, not as assertive as in, say, Franziskaner, but nice enough. The taste was....well.... good. Typical weissbier taste, only better. Banana, lemon, yeast. Pleasant stuff. Faint banana aftertaste. Doesn’t beat Franziskaner in my opinion, but that one’s a sentimental favorite, and that probably has something to do with it.

Jan 9, 2008 16.9 oz bottle-A nice cloudy yellowish orange with a nice two finger white head and a slight aroma of citrus and wheat. Taste of banana, cloves, wheat, and cloves. I remember this being better but as I am doing a Hefe tour this one is a bit lacking compared to others but still very good.

Apr 20, 2008 Unfiltered yellow with medium white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, banana and clove. Taste of lemon, wheat and light banana. Decent beer with a light dry finish.
