Feb 5, 2009 12 oz bottle. Poured a cloudy yellow color with a two finger white head. The aroma was banana, cloves and citrus. The flavor was bubble gum, cloves and bananas. This was an excellent hefe.

Oct 11, 2006 500 ml bottle. Light brown and very cloudy from lots of sediment in the bottle. Throws a tall off-white head. Bread and cloves in the nose. Aroma feels slightly sweet and acidic at the same time. Very rich aroma. Highly carbonated. Crisp, yeasty mouthfeel. Texture is rich and smooth. Some bitterness in the finish.

Aug 2, 2005 Copper. Big, bubbly, white head. Big malt nose with subtelties of alcohol and sweetness. Same flavor with a bit of lactic character. Creamy smooth body, nice level of carbonation. Very good.

Feb 5, 2009 On tap somewhere in Munich (too drunk to remember). This is what hefeweizen should always be. Cloudy orangish brown color, nice white head. Wheaty aroma with banana and clove, some citrus. Flavor is wheaty with a sweet, light, refreshing citrusy taste. Really refreshing and incredibly drinkable. Why can’t they all be this good?

Aug 15, 2007 Updated: Jan 5, 2008Hazy golden colour foamy white head. Citrus and banana in aroma and taste. Flavour has also some coriander and cloves. Very smooth body, not too much carbonation. Nice mouthfeeling. Very pleasant.

On a hot summerday in april this german qualitybrew made many throths happier. Served with almost german sausages from Popp, it could hardly be better.
