drpimento (499), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA Apr 17, 2008 Ahhh... Those guys at this brewery know their stuff. Excellent Hefe Weiss! Has all teh classic hallmarks of the quintessential bavarian weiss beer. Pours with a nice white fine head and good lace. Typical cloudy yellowish amber color. Good sharp tang and carbonation. All the traditional esters in this kind of beer. Easily a session beer. Very clean pleasant finish. I’ve been drinking this for many years and I believe that it’s actually improved over time. Having a mug a this at Bodega Brew Pub downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin. USA
