Panzerfaust (377), Santiago, Chile Jan 13, 2008 Pours a strong, hazy yellow color with a medium, creamy white head. It leaves a nice lacing.
Aroma is malty, cereally with little banana which is weird compared to the other weizens I’ve drunk. It smells mostly of wheat, citrus, straw and cereal grains.
Flavor is mildly sweet, agreeable with notes of citrus, some banana and spices. Touches of wheat flakes are also noticeable.
Medium to big body with efervescent carbonation that dies fast in the mouth. Refreshing, crisp and well-made. No alcohol present. Nice dry finish. Good Hefe.

Pleasant phenols aftertaste. Ceebs25 (67), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Sep 23, 2008 11.2 oz bottle. Fairly light on the aroma, i get buttery popcorn, some yeast, and a spicy sort of citrus, but not as much banana as others seem to think. Good standard hefe appearance with a good frothy pour, super cloudy look, and golden tangerine orange in color. Very smooth tasting, with nice medium feel, organic spices and mild citrus fruit with dough, a mostly citrus lemon cookie ending and linger. Pretty good overall as a beer in general with a few unique qualities here and there (which is nice), otherwise just a solid example of a german wheat beer.
