Cloudy, golden, with white head. Smells largely of bread - wheaty, malty, sweet, with some interesting spice and fruit notes (apple?). The flavor is quite nice - very wheaty, hints of hops, and large doses of yeast - delicious weizen yeast (bready, sweet, cloves, fruit). Mouthfeel is medium feel with a decent bit of carbonation zing.

Bottle. Pours foamy honey yellow. Citrus and clove aroma. Citrus, mild spice, light banana, clove, and a hint of orange. Cool and smooth citrus finish. Classic hefeweizen taste. Could be a bit more "aggressive"

Bottle; good beer overall, subtle banana and spice notes. Better than I thought it was going to be though still prefer Ayinger or Franziskaner hefeweizen

bottle - amber color, large, frothy head. Typical weizen aroma banana and spice, very fruity and acidic. Flavor not as sharp as aroma would have me believe, light hint of apple danish. Good all around weizen.

330 ml bottle from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Cloudy orange-amber with a large off-white foam. Aroma: Some toasted cereal, some bright, kinda green banana esters, banana bread, a little organic acid brightness, a bit of clove and warm spice, kinda creamy-smelling (odd, I know). Palate: Medium+ body, full but soft effervescence, creamy. Flav.: More of the traditional banana and clove, yeasty, bread dough, banana loaf, still a hint of organic acids; dry with no appreciable bitterness.

Quite nice.

Pours a hazy golden-orange hue. Medium white head. Very attractive beer. The aroma is of yeast, fruit, maybe some banana in there. Flavor is fruity with hints of bitterness. Pretty thin body. Not bad.

Bottle. Orange and very cloudy. Large not too dense foam. The aroma was not too intense but it contained the classic banana scents that I associate with a German wheat beer. Although some other spices were there like a little yeast. The taste was pretty fruity taste with a lot of banana, also some yeast, pepper and a slight acidity. No bitterness, rather thin body and really feeling a bit watery but still pleasant to drink.

What can I say? This is a GOOD hefe, and a good hefe is a brilliant anything else! Has all the hallmarks, including that lovely banana taste, the only downside is it’s not quite as smooth as other hefe’s I’ve tried, still a brilliant beer none the less.
