Bottle. This just hit the spot. Very surprised at my enjoyment of this, had the Optimator before and wasn’t too impressed, but this was great on a summer day on the lake. Big fluffy head atop a wonderfully cloudy yellow body. Fruity, wheat, yeasty, do I detected coriander (in a German hefe? weird.) Crisp, refreshing, bananas and cloves, a touch of citrus and coriander again. A pleasant surprise!

Aug 17, 2008 Cloudy wheat color. Tons of esters in the nose. Great clove and banana taste. So easy to drink. Very dry, yet fizzy finish. Yum.

Aug 16, 2008 Spicy banana clove, notes of zwieback and honey. Cloudy amber, huge billowy head. Sweet mellow malts, lemony tartness, slight bitterness, almost undetectable, but works for the balance. Bubbly carbonation, spicy bready finish. Excellent Hefeweizen, good complexity, yet easy drinking and refreshing

Aug 15, 2008 Nice weiss. Cloudy yellow with a creamy white head. Lots of banana and spice up front with a dry, yeasty finish. The yeast is quite assertive with almost no bitterness.

Aug 12, 2008 Bottle courtesy of tupalev. Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a large frothy white head. Pleasant aroma of yeast, banana, lemon, wheat and grain. Flavour’s the same, yeasty with banana and lemon along with a touch of spices, a bit of grain and very light hops in the finish -- very easy to drink. Medium bodied. For something so readily available in Ontario this is a pretty damn good Hefe -- well done!
