WesKBob (167), Bethany, Oklahoma, USA Mar 24, 2008 Updated: Jul 6, 2008 One of the better hefs out there. Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a cremy head. Strong fruity aroma of banana and some citrus. A very full smooth and creamy mouthfeel for a hefeweizen. Fruit flavor is strong, but not overpowering. This is a good beer year ’round, but is one of my favorite summer beers.
mcsquint (20), , Missouri, USA Oct 12, 2008 Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Medium golden in color. Cloudy with massive white creamy head. Somewhat tart aroma of light malt, orange, lemon, clove. Tastes of malt, orange, lemon, banana and clove and lots of yeasty goodness. Medium mouthfeel, perfectly carbonated. I had this on tap in Germany several years ago and surprisingly enough, tastes very similar. If ever there was a warm day session beer, this is it! joe1961_2 (429), camberley, Surrey, England Oct 12, 2008 Bottle. Lovely cloudy appearence with a good decent yellow colour, and a huge head. The aroma is malty and yeasty with a hint of banana. Good stuff SuperDave70 (832), Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA Oct 11, 2008 Cloudy golden pour with a foamy white head that lasts a while. Aroma of yeast, wheat, banana, clove and citrus. Smells exactly how you expect a good hefe to smell. Flavor is yeasty and citrusy, with the spice coming through more on the finish. Smooth and refreshing on the palate. A really good hefe. Ramenen (351), San Salvador, El Salvador Oct 7, 2008 Thanks to ghawener. Pours a light yellow color with a fast disappearing white head. Light bodied, sweet, some fruit but also a little bit of spices. Very drinkable and refreshing. rcasta (289), El Salvador Oct 4, 2008 Gracias hawener a traves de casta en la casa del gordo con el pollo y hawener y el gordo
