Poured with a nice, thick creamy, slightly off-white head with decent retention.
Color was straw with a hint of orange, about 6-8 L. Cloudy appearance.
Faint yeasty aroma with a hint of spice.
Smooth, slightly acidic taste; fairly dry with a hint of yeast.
Didn’t taste the clove or banana esters that are usually indicative of this style.
Not much of an aftertaste; not particularly bitter, either.
Decent mouthfeel; not highly carbonated.
Overall, not bad, but fairly "meh" and unremarkable.
A squeeze of lemon didn’t really improve the taste, but it didn’t hurt it either.

Jan 5, 2010 Refrigerated bottle and mini-keg. Pours a hazy golden color with nice white head. Light clove flavor with just a hint of banana. Not as much flavor as some hefeweizens, but a great session beer.

Jan 3, 2010 maybe one of the best weizen beers ive ever had, great color, carbonation, head retention, and a very delicious, unique flavor that tastes of fruit and citrus, perfect representation of the style.

Dec 31, 2009 Yellow-orange with a super thick rocky head. Bready aroma with spices. I’m looking for that banana aroma, and I can’t quite detect it. Flavor is moderately bitter, just enough to be pleasant. Very thirst quenching, very drinkable.

Dec 31, 2009 bottle. pours a hazy yellow beer with an huge head. wheat aroma with hints of the typical german hefe-weissen smell. Good wheat taste with some bitter notes. Liked the weihenstephaner more. Good beer.

Dec 29, 2009 Better than your average Hef. Tastes purer and with bracing acidity and doughiness. This one doesn’t need a lemon. Nice long finish.

Dec 27, 2009 Bottle - World Market - Aroma and flavor have a nice clove, maybe some citric/limon nose. I was expecting a little bannana for this style but didn’t find it here. Nice yeast aromas and flavor but wheat (malts) seemed a little light; normally full wheat beers seem heavier so I don’t drink too many in one setting. Golden haze color with full white head. Decent head retention. The citric flavors are a little strange on the palate but not too far off for style. Pretty good overall and worth a try.

clean wheat aroma.
sweet-wheat-malt(doughnut) T1, sweet-weizen §banana T2, bread-dough T3.
not very complex or estery like the hefes i really like.
