As Oktoberfest brews go, this one isn't too bad. Nice color, and a smooth taste, with light hops.

ante (3374) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 1, 2003
golden color, small white head. Very nice malty aroma of butter, herbs, syrup with weak notes of berries. Very, very malty with a smooth mouthfeel. finishes dry and malty with some notes of toffee and minerals.

harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - AUG 31, 2003
Very very good, but slightly unbalanced, which is okay, but very malty and slightly syrupy. Very dry finish in the aftertaste. I look forward to this time of year every year, I love Oktoberfest styles.

Fruity nose, with raspberry suggestions. Sweet body with caramel notes. Finishes sweet with hints of dryness at the end. Well rounded beer.

Typical good German beer, I would pick some others in Munich before this, but there is nothing bad about this beer!

Great appearance, looks and smells very tasty. Aftertaste is a little weird though.

Great beer. Malty, yeasty, toasty smooth beer. I could drink this and sing German drinking songs all night.

   AROMA 9/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 10/10   PALATE 5/5   OVERALL 18/20
hotstuff (4389) - Indiana, USA - MAR 19, 2003
I enjoyed this brew due to its very sweet aroma and I found it to be smooth tasting which is very much to my liking unlike those brews that taste like strong coffee. This is a brew that I would enjoy drinking all night at a bar or party.

3.2
   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 13/20
elnadeau (786) - Laguna Niguel, California, USA - FEB 20, 2003
This brew seems to be true to the style, has some malt sweetness and is light on hops. The result is a somewhat pleasant drinkable beer with no real character of it's own.
