Pours medium gold with a decent white head that sticks around and leaves some lacing. Smells of a typical German lager- grassy, herbal, sweet. Taste is quite middle of the road, with a decent balance of sweet and bitter. It is a rather soft and easy drinking beer, light on the palate and seemingly weaker than the 5.8% abv that it is. I don’t think I would get it again.

Not bad. Improved by drinking in a full litre glass. Not quite up to the standards of the other beers in its genre.

Pure transparent gold, light carbonation, medium strength white head. Fairly neutral aroma with hoppy notes. Bitter-sweet taste with a hoppy bitter finish. I can see why this is Oktoberfest beer, very palatable.

1L can in a 1L mug. Brew of 2012. Always wanted to have that souvenir mug. Beers is also good. Not quite märzen, but a good example of oktoberfest brew :-)

Giant can! Pours mostly clear gold with white head. Aroma is bready and cereal malts, light toast, light caramel, light mixed nuts, and faint dates. Flavor is bready malt base with light hop bitterness and some dark fruit and caramel sweetness. Light/medium body and medium carbonation.

Light yellow pour, no head. Smells like a breakfast cereal with a hint of banana. More sweet than not. Middle is malt and a slightly cloying sweetness. Finish is much the same. ????

Aroma floral e levemente maltado. Coloração amarelo palha e translúcido. Sabor doce do malte e um amargor gostoso que fica no retrogosto e convida para mais um gole.

kidmartinek (3615) - austin, Texas, USA - JUN 30, 2014
Clear golden with only the slightest haze. Rare slowly rising bubbles. Aroma is gummy. As for the taste, for a second I thought it was a dos equis but it tastes too gummy like most cheep beers made in germany. Forgettable paulaner. They should really stay away from wheat beer and capitalize on the pils.

Inside the big liter mug the body has a deep golden color with good clarity visible carbonation and a tall bright white head. This head slowly settles down to a much smaller cap that hangs on till the end. Lacing is slick. It has white bready maltiness with a nice nutty character and some leafy/earthy/spicy noble hop notes as well. The flavor is very similar to the aroma with the same base of clean bready malt and noble hop notes. Its medium bodied extremely drinkable and lively carbonated.

Bottle pour. Clear, honey yellow with two fingers of head. Pleasant nose of honey, wheat thins, and mild cereal. Medium-light body. Cereal and honey, with mild grassy hops. Faint earthiness. Average carbonation.
