Poured a light brown with an even lighter tan head. Nose of lightly sweet and lightly roasted malts, with faint hoppy notes. Flavor was sweet and malty with nice breadiness. Clean, crisp finish with some mildly rich, earthy malt lingerings. Good stuff. Blom (557), Odense, Denmark

Bitter with a long metalic aftertaste. Could not drink too many. kuphish (183), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 28, 2010 Bottle. Pours an ultra clear, copper body with an average white head. Bread crust and some toast in the aroma. Flavor is full of clean, smooth, lagery goodness. The malt aromas are much richer in the flavor. Light-medium body with lively carbonation. Malt forward, but balanced with a lightly bitter finish. Very pleasant. corby112 (868), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 19, 2010 Pours a clear dark chestnut/amber color with a half finger off white head that immediately fades into a very thin ring. No lacing to speak of.
Slightly spicy aroma with a malt character that is slightly roasted. Nutty with a touch of earthy hops.
Surprisingly hop forward for the style with a strong malt character that is again slightly roasty. It’s also a bit nutty with hints of spicy cinnamon and brown sugar. This is nicely balanced by the slightly earthy hops that linger throughout. Pretty drinkable but kind of bland. mickmac (119), Ngunnawal, Australia
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 18, 2010 Bottle. Average white head over a brilliantly clear golden body. Spicey floral aroma, with a hint of applejuide like sweetness. A spicey-buttery taste, finishing with a touch of malt sweetness. Light bodied EithCubes (2200), Indiana, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 16, 2010 Somehow have managed to avoid rating this. Bottle, past its prime but still pretty good. Fresh, bright, and punchy citrus and grass nose. Clear, rich golden-amber body with a fluffy, bright white head. Taste is lightly sweet, rich malt with light toast and nuts, hint of alcohol warmth. Little hay, little caramel and grain. Spice hiding behind the grass but I still see you! Soft body, low bitterness. Relatively clean and deeply satisfying.
