Beszélgetős,társasági sör. tombb25 (3), USA does not count Apr 7, 2009 Very nice smooth amber, nice copper color to it, slight hop on the finish but very soft, easy drinker a little bit of residual peel lingers, really nice beer. Cavie (1300), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Mar 6, 2009 This beer was incredibly smooth and I enjoyed it immensely. Wonderful taste. Pwn3d (1036), Manhattan, New York, USA Mar 1, 2009 Bottle as image shows. Pours amber and smells of sweet spice and hops. Some bready and pils flavors going on. Lilvely. otakuden (518), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Feb 23, 2009 Filling my glass with a gloriously amber and copper-hued brew, a soft puffy head fades rather ceremoniously into scattered puddles of beauty. Very little aggravation upon a few swirls, though more lace does cling to the sides of my glass, tempting me to savor all of her glistening depths within. I want to dive right into her beckoning depths, but first I must revel in her nose which is replete with nuts, caramel, toffee, apples, brown sugar and spice. Not to be outdone, faint whispers of licorice and fig also mingle with their dominating brethren. Such a wonderful nose calls for divine intervention in the form of me quaffing the offending brew within. A very soft and clean medium-bodied mouthfeel, she practically floats across my tastebuds. Immediately I am enveloped in a blanket of sweet toffee and crunchy nuts which are followed quickly by caramelized sugars, warm bread, and brown spices. A super clean finish lingers with but a whisper of our memorable time together, calling me back immediately for another visit. As I near the end of my glass, I find my mouth slowly being coated with creamy toffee and caramel as nuts, bread, and spice enliven the party. Sooner than I expected, our time together is over and I am reminded again of why the Paulaner Oktoberfest Marzen was another integral beer in my eventual evolution into the beer gourmand I am now.
My Paulaner Oktoberfest Marzen was clean, refreshing, and highly sessionable with the perfect balance of Oktoberfest Marzen character. I could espouse upon her good points indefinitely, but instead, I am going to enjoy another bottle of the Paulaner Oktoberfest. Why? Because I can. TheJollyOne (203), Kofu, Japan Feb 18, 2009 Clear and yellow, thick white head. Nose of citrus and hops. Taste of bitter grapefruit and peel, some bread yeast. Crisp palate, bubbily and quick. Dev4 (3), USA does not count Feb 5, 2009 A good example of the style. I think if this was fresh on tap it would be better. It had that stale flavor german beers usually have in the states. Good strong malt flavor, fruity, sweet. Enjoyable. jkwalking05 (1483), Arlington, Texas, USA Jan 29, 2009 Amber in color with a decent sized off-white head. Aroma is of malt, nuts, and toast. Flavor is bready with malt and a light hop taste.
