Jan 3, 2009 Updated: Jun 3, 2009Bottle pour into Stella glass. Pours a medium dark amber with white head that diminished relatively quick. Sweet aroma with grainy and caramel notes. Smooth, flavorful. Nice beer, enjoyed each sip. Update Feb 28 - have since enjoyed this beer several times and have taken a liking to it. I’ll purchase when available - Cheers!

Dec 15, 2008 Bottle, as Paulaner Oktoberfest Maerzen. Pours fairly dark clear amber, with a moderate white head. Aroma is caramel malt, grain, bit of citrus. Flavor is a fairly nice soft maltiness, somewhat sweet and caramel, with some grain and a little smokiness. Hops adding some bitterness in the background, with a bit of citrus in the finish. Moderately creamy mouthfeel. A nice oktoberfest.

Dec 5, 2008 50cl Bottle. Clear golden amber, white disappearing head. Aroma of malts and grass, some citrus, a bit skunky. Flavour is grassy, malty and some citrus, short hopbitter finish. Very pilsner-like, and not a very good one.
