apshah99 (137), Portland, Oregon, USA Oct 17, 2008 Amber pour with thin white head. Sweet malty aroma. Tastes of caramel malt, yeast, and mild spices with a balanced finish. Very smooth on the palate. Nice if a bit undistinguished. BenDover (125), Texas, USA Oct 16, 2008 A bit thin tasting, even for a Marzen, and not much in the way of spices. What I did taste was good but it could have been bolder. Cybercat (776), Georgia, USA Oct 15, 2008 This one pours a pretty golden dark amber, not too much head. Aroma is malty and slightly spicy, not strong but promising. Flavor is crisp and malty and has a nice nutty undertone. Texture is fairly smooth and somewhat tingly. Not a great beer, but definitely worth a try. goozen (1061), Leiden, Netherlands Oct 15, 2008 Bottle 0,5ltr: Golden coloured brew with some fruity taste and some hints of caramel.
