Paulaner Oktoberfest

Can: Poured a golden clear with a lacing white head. Aroma is light with some sweet malt. Taste is metal with a sweet malt finish.

Dark amber, sweet, malty, bready, nutty, little caramel, little spice, slight hop.

Aroma is rich malt, roasted nuts and sweet honey with a background of hops. Pours rich copper color, no head retention and super-clear. Flavor begins with sweet honey and roasted nuts and a nice smooth carmeliness. Finishes with a spiciness in the throat, probably from the hops. Medium to light body. Drinkability is medium to low. Not that impressive. Seems a little off style for a Marzen.

Kinda weak for a oktoberfest beer.. Poured a dark brown color kinda like flat root beer. you could taste alttle hops. lets face it this beer sucked

Roasty dark malts combined with some fruit esters, and a bit doughy. It pours a red amber with a full white head that fizzles into a white collar, nice lacing. Nice sweet flavor, that is not too sweet, minor tartness, great balance mid-tongue bitterness. Perfect, velvety smooth, beautiful balance.

I think this is a superb oktoberfest. Big, bold malt, bread, and caramel flavors. A rich body with a sweet, spicy tang followed by just the right touch of hop in the finish. I’ll pour another.

500 ml bottle. Pale golden and crystal clear. Medium-sized white head. Floral hop aroma with a rounded malty background. Feels very clean. Richer malty flavours with a texture that feels somewhat oily and thick. The background is sharply bitter, but not overpowering. Mouth is left in a dry, lightly puckering, state after swallowing. Feels a little like a really strong pilsener. Not particularly interesting.

Pours a transparent amber color with a medium white head. Aroma is of some spice and flavor it definitely a little sweet (brown sugar) plus caramel malt. On tap at Addison Oktoberfest.
