| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 4, 2008 Dark amber, sweet, malty, bready, nutty, little caramel, little spice, slight hop. chrisafari (100), Orange, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 3, 2008 Aroma is rich malt, roasted nuts and sweet honey with a background of hops. Pours rich copper color, no head retention and super-clear. Flavor begins with sweet honey and roasted nuts and a nice smooth carmeliness. Finishes with a spiciness in the throat, probably from the hops. Medium to light body. Drinkability is medium to low. Not that impressive. Seems a little off style for a Marzen. msiano (30), Belmar, New Jersey, USA
