on tap. I’ve also had it out of the bottle. I wouldn’t have rated it this high if it was out of the bottle. Very, very good.

Tap at Heidi´s Bierbar Århus. Beer of The month october2008. Dark yellow but still far from amber colour, with a nice white foam. Aroma and taste of malts, bread, a bit caramel, hops and straw. Fresh mouthfeel but a bit short finish. Very drinkable all year around.

Bottle from By the Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Poured a deep burnt amber body with a small white head. Malty, sticky, bready, mildly sweet and caramel flavored. Very nice balance with a mild hop bite in the finish. Yum!

Aroma is rich malt, roasted nuts and sweet honey with a background of hops. Pours rich copper color, no head retention and super-clear. Flavor begins with sweet honey and roasted nuts and a nice smooth carmeliness. Finishes with a spiciness in the throat, probably from the hops. Medium to light body. Drinkability is medium to low. Not that impressive. Seems a little off style for a Marzen.
