Oct 2, 2008 Roasty dark malts combined with some fruit esters, and a bit doughy. It pours a red amber with a full white head that fizzles into a white collar, nice lacing. Nice sweet flavor, that is not too sweet, minor tartness, great balance mid-tongue bitterness. Perfect, velvety smooth, beautiful balance.

Oct 1, 2008 I think this is a superb oktoberfest. Big, bold malt, bread, and caramel flavors. A rich body with a sweet, spicy tang followed by just the right touch of hop in the finish. I’ll pour another.

Oct 1, 2008 500 ml bottle. Pale golden and crystal clear. Medium-sized white head. Floral hop aroma with a rounded malty background. Feels very clean. Richer malty flavours with a texture that feels somewhat oily and thick. The background is sharply bitter, but not overpowering. Mouth is left in a dry, lightly puckering, state after swallowing. Feels a little like a really strong pilsener. Not particularly interesting.

Oct 1, 2008 Pours a transparent amber color with a medium white head. Aroma is of some spice and flavor it definitely a little sweet (brown sugar) plus caramel malt.

Sep 30, 2008 Bottle, from Wholefoods. Amber color, aroma of brown sugar and spices. Flavor was fairly heavy on the brown sugar/caramel, and lightly hopped. Easy to drink and fairly tasty. Not bad on a hot football sunday day.

Sep 30, 2008 500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.0%. Colden colour, big to medium sized white head. Nice aroma of fruity German hops and sweetish malts. The flavour is fairly sweet and malty but still smooth and easy drinking, with decent hops in the finish.
