Pawola22 (676), Kansas City, Missouri, USA Oct 19, 2009 500ml bottle. Pours a clear, copper colored body with a thin, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a light lacing. Aroma is malty with a caramel sweetness, some hay, a light toast, and a hint of spice. A somewhat grainy nose with some citrusy lemon notes as well. Flavor is sweet with some slightly watery caramels, grass, a light toast, and some floral fruits towards the end. Finishes lightly hopped after a thinner to medium body. Medium aftertaste of thinner malts and a light fruity grass. Goes down very easy. Overall, not bad, but unexciting. Everything works well together for an uneventful, yet satisfying beer. daniele (1635), Italy Oct 19, 2009 oro buonja schiuma piutosto persitente note maltate leggerissimo erbaceo in bocca maltata corpppo medio poco amara skmikeg (70), Poway, California, USA Oct 18, 2009 pours a copper color with s small white head. faint aroma of carmel malt, spices, and a little hops. flavor is malty with alot of toasted malt, carmel, spices and a some hops. body is medium with a sweet, creamy mouthfeel. very drinkable but a tad too sweet. overall, a pretty oktoberfest. rane (493), Nibe, Denmark Oct 18, 2009 Can. The taste is malty. The carbonation is perfect! Very good beer! TheOrange (405), Kent, Ohio, USA Oct 13, 2009 Orang-ish hued amber pour with a medium sized head of off white bubbles. Aroma is syrupy caramel sweet malt. The hops are mild yet sharp, and very well balanced to the malt. The carbonation is just about right, the beer is not flat, but does not feel like soda. Pretty good beer here! Bonster (81), Jersey Shore, New Jersey, USA Oct 13, 2009 Bottle. Clear copper amber pour. Short white head doesn’t stick around. Nice subdued hoppyness. There isn’t much to the nose but the caramel malts and hops blend together pretty well, slight pinch of spice behind it all. The taste is malty with some bland hop bitterness along with notes of herb and spice. Pretty average, nothing spectacular.
