Pours out a deep orange color with little to no head. Aroma is faint caramel, honey, and sweet esters. Taste is very malty, more caramel, doughy, and a bit of a nutty finish. Not bad but not great either, typical for marzens.

12 oz. bottle from Wine Warehouse produced on 05/08. Bronze pour with a medium offwhite head. Very grainy aroma with some caramel and banana overtones. Taste is toasted malts, cereal and some fruity notes. Crisp and medium bodied. Very nice.

2008 Bottle - Pours brown with a large tan head, aroma is sweet and grassy/grainy, nice alcohol, but no bubbles, flavour is your standard malty marzen with a bit of toast, bit of fruit, I prefer some others over this one..

Puours a clear dark amber with an off-white head. Flavor is sweet, aroma and flavor include honey, and caramel malt. A nice Oktoberfest Bier that is filled with tradition.

Bottle. Dirty amber pour with a nice creamy head. Aroma of malt and barnyard. Taste of grain, almond and burnt malt. Nice finish. Great for a fall session brew.

12 oz, produced 05/08, 5.8% abv. Clear, deep amber-copper with a lasting 2-finger head. Some spots of soapy lace are left behind. Aromas of earth-spiced molasses, dry grain, candy corn and a hint of metal. Flavor starts with malt: earthy caramel, toffee, dry grain and toasted nut. Slowly sweeps to a balanced finish with some light peppery-wooden hops and slight sour apple. Medium body is lightly carbonated, with a little hop-tingle and a nice lean to the dry-side for the finish.

Clear light golden color and offwhite fading head. Sweet aroma. Malty flavor with hoppy dry finish. Medium carbonated. Not too special.
