ShawnMalloy (119), Auburn, Massachusetts, USA Sep 5, 2008 Pours darkish orangish. Smells malty and sweet. Lively carbonation and mouthfeel. Taste resembles other Paulaner products possibly because of the chosen yeast. One of the better Oktoberfests floating around in my honest O. TEJA (281), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 5, 2008 3:rd of 4 different oktoberfest beer in a sampling. A litle more colour than the previous oktoberfest beers. Small aroma of malt. God bitterness and some maltiness. ucusty (1865), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Sep 4, 2008 My first octoberfest of the season. Just a run of the mill octoberfest. Rather weak hops and malts though. Decent honey aroma. Quaffable 17thfloor (1402), Chicago, Illinois, USA Sep 4, 2008 Pours a rich reddish amber with a medium fluffy beige creamy head. Rich malt aroma, peppery, some alcohol, and caramel. Flavor follows, sweet rich caramel malt with a light spiciness and a touch of grass. Medium body that feels a bit watery with light sizzling carbonation. Underhook (162), Lincoln Park, New Jersey, USA Sep 2, 2008 Pours marzen amber, smells very malty. Weak, watery palate. Some malty caramel taste but overly very weak. Disappointing. punainen6 (93), Finland Sep 2, 2008 Bottle, light amber color with a fizzy white head. Aroma has some malts, spices and
grass. Carbonation is pretty standard, not too offensive. Aftertaste is quite nice malty almost caremel like finish. But overall this feels abit watery. peuasa (34), Salvador, Brazil Sep 2, 2008 Updated: Oct 2, 2008Great beer with a good caramel flavor. medium sized white head, clear amber cooper color. daknole (2801), Plantation, Florida, USA Sep 1, 2008 of all the Paulaner beers I have to admit this is my least favorite, but it is still good. Bottle. Pours a copper color with a decent mostly white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, nutty and some grains are noticeable too. Flavor is a tad spicy, malty, and overall easy to drink. Cheers.
