fruity aroma, caramel, sweet notes. nice, clear yellow white head, flavor is soft, round, sweet, well balanced, overall quite nice forf a strong beer, could be a session beer until you fall over. MrBunn (1520), Western, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 23, 2008 Updated: Aug 29, 2009Rerate... original below. Body is a deep amber with a medium sized head of dense off white foam. The rest of the rating is pretty much spot on as far as what I’m picking up (although this batch seems to have a bit of a metallic edge to it.)

Very little head forms and not much lacing. Other than that, tastes of mild spices, a little sweet, and some dy hops can be detected. Mouthfeel was good and the finish is a little dry. Lagunitasfan (432), San Diego, California, USA Aug 19, 2008 On tap at Stone 12th. Light amber color with a light, sweet scent. Lots of flavor in a light, happy way. It’s clean and fruity in the mouth. I could have sat down with a few of these had I been given the opportunity. NJJereme (261), Saint Petersburg, Florida, USA Aug 18, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours an amber color with a light off-white head which quickly dissipates. Well-balanced between hops and malts. Light to medium bodied. Finishes a little better. Not bad. Allen (1282), Switzerland Aug 15, 2008 Bottled 50cl. Extremely well balanced and pleasant. Sweet malty with notes of gooseberries in both nose and taste. Bitter finish. Great! bigbish (137), Colorado, USA Aug 13, 2008 Pours a nice amber without much head. What is there disipates quickly. Aroma is of caramel, but is very week and hard to detect. Very malty taste, slightly sweet. Feels smooth in my mouth. Just a hint of hops on the finish that leaves a slightly dry taste in my mouth. This is a great beer.
