BMan1113VR (2755), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA Mar 17, 2008 Off-white head, copper hued body. Malty aroma. The taste is sweet, malty but a bit watery. Mouthfeel was watery but a tad too fizzy. Very nice to sip on, a little bit of alcohol noticable in the finish. Goes quite well with food. renffisch (490), london, Greater London, England Mar 11, 2008 500ml bottle on couch at home. Bouquet of honey and grass. golden appearance with a white, not to stable, lacy head. it#s "herb" , but very refreshing and very very drinkable for a strong, as it should be, beer. round tasting, very well balanced stuff. HughConway (364), Alabama, USA Mar 8, 2008 500mL Bottle. Nice copper color, thin lasting white head. Malt aroma. Nice thin taste with some malt and sweet. Could drink it all day. illidurit (851), Santa Cruz, California, USA Mar 7, 2008 Updated: Dec 15, 2008Poured into an Eichhof bier mug. Clear amber/copper color with a nice off-white head.
Aroma is malty, with a sweet biscuity character and a little bit of spiciness.
Taste is light and grainy, with sweet malt and a touch of black tea.
This beer is absurdly easy to drink. It’s smooth and tasty, light but flavorful. BelgianBeerGal (1274), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Mar 6, 2008 Draught. Nice clear copper colour with a thin tan head. No real lacing. Mostly caramel in the aroma and flavour with sweetened malt. Pleasant enough. Adenila (931), Denmark Mar 2, 2008 Pretty uninteresting overall, some aromatic notes of almond essence and alchohol along with grain, good for thirst quinching, thats it for me. Gmoney (250), ManchVegas, New Hampshire, USA Mar 1, 2008 12 oz bottle . clear dark copper pour . decent white head and good lace. nice malt aroma . flavor is malty sweet and light hop notes . smooth and almost creamy , good balance . jbrus (4835), Delft, Netherlands Mar 1, 2008 Bottle@Home. Faint grainy aroma. Pale yellow color, white head, good lace. Sweet, grainy, light bitter, little sticky and soft mouthfeel. This is too clean and too boring.
