theisti (1638), Leawood, Kansas, USA Oct 5, 2009 1/3 liter draft at Cafe Berlin in Denver, Colorado. Pour is clear copper and brownish with a smallish off white head. There is a bunch of visible carbonation bubbles. Aroma is sweet hay and nicely toasty refined maltiness. In the back of the aroma is a touch of floral. Taste is a nice balance of the sweet grassy malt and some floral hop. Palate is thin medium, with a nice carbonation level - this beer went down very easy. brenn79 (140), Idaho, USA Oct 3, 2009 Updated: Oct 21, 200916.9 oz. bottle- Pours like an amber, the aroma and appearance is decent, flavor is of malt and very sweet with a mild bitterness after you swallow. Not a bad beer, but doesn’t push any boundaries either GranvilleTim (465), Granville, Illinois, USA Oct 3, 2009 Amber pour with an off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, sweetness,. Joakgust (320), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 2, 2009 Bottle, 50cl - Clear dark golden color with a large white head. Aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and grass. Flavor is malty with notes of caramel and some German hops. Pretty nice and balanced. TrefwoordPunk (549), Leiden, Netherlands Oct 1, 2009 Bottle 50 cl. Drank it with a friend while sitting in the garden on a nice evening. Pours copper with big white head and an aroma of sweet grain. The taste is mellow, but not in a bad way. Not too sweet, not too hoppy. Some sweet malts, some grassy hops, but all very smooth. Not too special, but I guess it’s a good session-beer. jb (1023), Rochester, New York, USA Sep 30, 2009 Dark orange, minimal head in mine. Sweet and a tad malty in the nose. Smooth and sweet palate, but one of the more boring exhibits of an Okt. I’ve have in a while. Not much complexity.
