Poured a caramel color with a medium sized tan head. Sweet malty aroma with a light vegetal aspect. Flavor was very sweet and malty with nut caramel and citrus present as well. Good balalnce, just thin however. Is it just me or have Oktoberfest beers gotten smaller in the last couple years?

On tap at Luigi’s in Mission Beach.. Pours a fire amber with a light head..good color. the aroma is light and dry and almost slightly fruity. First hit to the palate is dry hoppy with hints of sweetness.. Good bite at the end that doesnt linger and the malts make their way into the taste. Solid fest.

12oz pour. Nice fluffy head that laces till done. Aroma of a classic Oktoberfest. Malt, malt and more malt with a surprising spicy hop punch. This is a classic Fest Beer as the lingering flavor is of Fall and apples, crisp + sweet. For such a commercial brewery, this is worthy as is the price by the case here in PA. Less than $30 US.
