Bottle - label lists alc. at 5.8%: Pours a clear amber-bronze with a off-white head, some effervesence, aroma of toasted malt and some malt sweetness, nose is not as sweet as some other Octoberfests, an even balance of malt and sweetness with some faint toasted malt, this was ok just not as enjoyable as a few other Octoberfests, some hop bite on the finish, comes up pretty clean and dry on the palate, this was ok.

This is an outstanding beer. It has a beautiful color with a taste as crisp and refreshing as its aroma. Highly recommended.

The Second Oktoberfest that I have had and probably the best . Excellent dark amber colour and a smooth, great taste. I drank this out of a shaker.

Keg (Gallows Bird, Espoo, Oktoberfest 2007) Sharp sour malt aroma. Slightly too fizzy, spoils the palate. Hasd a slightly plasticky taste, when warmed up actually tastes of something - a rather plain malt. Rating marked down in "overall" because the Paulaner website, which I used to try to verify which beer I’d had, completely sucks donkey cock.

Very pale golden with a small white foam. Grassy and malyu notes. Lots of carbonation. Malt and barley taste. light to medium body with a sweetish finish.

Aroma has a generous helping of toasted, sweet, bready malt. Enticing and welcoming. Burnt copper color with a large fluffy head that gradually settles leaving behind some long lacing. Refreshing and sugary sweet. Mild body, clean and drinkable. Amazing Oktoberfest flavor, this beer is a prime benchmark for this style. Taste of toffee and lightly roasted nuts. Sugary sweet with fresh biscuit flavors and toasted malt. Balanced by a mild bitterness. This is great.

On tap at Old Chicago : Pours a dark amber clear color, very nice. Not much head. Nose of grains and some malt...maybe a little caramel note. Flavor is much the same. Thin to medium body on the tongue, nice smoothness.

This is part of a beer club. Had only one bottle but was decent for the price. Poured great and had a nice finish. Would do again.
