Strong bready malt aroma, slightly honeyish, with faint grasy hops. Medium bodied with smooth mouthfeel. Flavour is a bit too much on the sweet side. dmtroyer (409), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Moderate carbonation, pleasant sweetness that does well with the creamy malts. Smooth and highly drinkable (should be when they’re serving it in liter glasses) Puts some domestic attempts to shame. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 25, 2007 Toasty caramel malt aroma. Pours copper with a beige head that went away through the course of the drink. Flavor was mostly sweet toasty caramel malt and a little brown sugar. with a crisp finish. The sweet malty flavor was a little bland to me though. It was good, but I did not enjoy it as much as some other Fest biers. Grovlam (3805), Copenhagen, Denmark
