| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 20, 2007 12 oz. bottle. Pours a crystal clear amber with a moderate yellow/white head that faded to a film after several sips. Light, indistinct aroma. A bit of malt in the flavor, otherwise indistinct flavor as well. Moderate hops bitterness at the finish. This is a completely unspectacular beer. jujubeast6000 (776), Houston, Texas, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 17, 2007 12 oz bottle. pours an opaque orange/amer with medium tight white head. has aroma of malt toast and somewhat estery. Why does it say Ale on the label? Octoberfest has always been lagers. Especially there version..Tastes less dry and crisp. some of the malkt flavor gets lost in these esters anfinishes less dry than i remember. JamesD (194), Centreville, Virginia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 17, 2007 An okay Oktoberfest. There are much better ones to be had. The flavor is smooth and malty, but lacks the punch that sets some of the better ones apart. malrubius (977), Valley Stream, New York, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 17, 2007 12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Clear bright amber color with flat ring head. Caramel apple aroma. Caramel malt flavor with very slight fruitiness and very mild lingering bitterness. Seems to be a good version of the style but I’m no expert at this style nor am I a fan. stefanje (938), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 17, 2007 500 ml bottle from Bevmo. Poured a copper amber color with an off white head that quickly disappeared and had no lacing. The Aroma was light with a musty yeasty character. Flavor was one dimensional with caramel sweets and saccharine. Mouthfeel was a bit thin and watery. Finish was short and sweet with a bit of soap film. Overall this is a below average Oktoberfest beer.
