Pours a deep orange color with a quick two inch head that disapated rather quickly. The scent is hoppy with some musty notes and some floral notes. A nice carmel, malty finish. Very interesting mouthfeel. An enjoyable Oktoberfest.

From bottle a nice amber pour with a fair amount of head. Nice thick flavoring with a nice short lived aftertaste.

rolls heartily in my pinter with it’s white head rising and sustantive yet slowly settling. orange kool aid colored, this good octoberfest is not for kids. moderately pleasant... it is a good caramel malt balanced well with hop and no desire to overdo either. therefore a pleasant kaliedascope of flavors (including fruit punch) waft about so as to not bore you. creamy, substantive, refreshing and tasty. thisis a winner.low carbonation and little character in the burp. very quality profile and character of sweetness.

12 oz. bottle at Flat Rock Saloon. Poured amber with a skim of white head. Amber, malty flavor. Not much going on here.

Tap. Moderate malt aromas of roasted, caramel and light chocolate, light hop note of herbs, and a light doughy smell for the yeast, with a nice honey aroma and brown sugar in the background. Head is rocky/foamy, white, with no lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is a clear red/brown. Flavor starts moderately sweet and acidic, then lightly sweet and modrately acidic and bitter in the finish. Palate is dry/watery, light to medium with a lively carbonation. A great example of quality German Oktoberfest

Pours a clear orange/gold. Flavor is slightly sweet, but smooth. At first there seemed to be almost a perfume touch.Goes down very smooth, which ups the drinkability. Feel is thick with character and a good level of carbonation too. Good to try, but not spectacular enough to warrant a repeat performance I say.

Bottle. I was pretty disappointed in this. It poured a nice dark brown but had a weak head. The aroma was malty and very sweet and the palate was smooth but the taste was flat and lacking complexity. When buying Paulaner, I much prefer their hefeweizen.

Good but not great. Poured amber with some malt notes. Not my favorite style (read: lager). I didn’t notice the 6% alc. Seemed like a premium lager to me (actually I think that I like Fairbanks Lager and Sam Adams better). Special to an international food festival here in Panama.
