hayduke (1619), Eureka, California, USA Sep 30, 2009 From a bottle this poured in my glass as very clear gold with a fat creamy white head. Nice lacing rings. Nose of malts and floral hops. Medium body and smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is lightly bitter and the finish is dry and lightly bitter as well. A very easy to drink beer. MmmcKay (269), Brentwood, Tennessee, USA Sep 29, 2009 Better on draft than in a bottle. Bottle tastes like a weak amber. Almost diluted. Very drinkable but unremarkable. hirigalzkar (550), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 27, 2009 Bottle. Really boring and bad märzen. Tastes like rotten vegtables and cheap malt. finol (475), Nacka (Stockholm), Sweden Sep 27, 2009 Bottle from Systembolaget.
Pours clear and very light golden.
Tastes and smells of vegitables and malt, so dull! thewolf (5623), Kolding, Denmark Sep 26, 2009 Bottle, bought @ CITTI, Flensburg.
Pours clear golden, lightly pale. Beautiful, creamy, white head. Long duration. Nice grainy aroma, crisp malts, light hay and grassy, flowery hops. Medium carbonation, fine dryish mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, grainy, malty. Discreet hoppiness, light dry, earthy and grassy hoppiness. Well balanced, but a tad too sweet for me. DBob5150 (31), Kansas City, Missouri, USA Sep 25, 2009 Amber color with thick cream-colored head. A little sweet with a crisp after taste. Sampled in a "build-a-6-pack". Enjoyable, but there are better Marzens out there. OleR (2007), Oslo, Norway Sep 25, 2009 0.5 L bottle from Systembolaget, Charlottenberg. Solid white head. Clear gold colored body. Sweetish, light bready, light grainy malt aroma. A faint whiff of dusty and papery hops. Clean-tasting, medium sweet malt body. Discreetly hopped, grass and faint lemon. Smooth, almost creamy in the mouth. Quite filling. Fine bitter and rounded malty finish. A well balanced, harmonius and reliable Festbier. chmurarz (401), Raciborz now Legnica, Poland Sep 23, 2009 500 ml can, rather small head, pale golden body, aroma is of a good quality hops and malt (one type) made on good quality water. Flavour ;between premium lager and strong lager, then herbs, grain and malty background, refreshing and very drinkable
