Paulaner Oktoberfest

Never had it on tap, but pretty good right from the bottle. Very drinkable, sweet and malty. Average finish.

Pours a clear orange/amber. Nice sweet nose with hints of dried fruits, nuts, toffee, and a very biscuity character. Light kinda corn like mouthfeel with a decent sweet edge to finish it out. A solid beer that has its place two months of the year.

Bouteille de 500 ml obtenue via Importations Privées Bièropholie. Arôme: Odeur de pain et de caramel fruité. Apparence: La couleur est blonde translucide avec une faible densité de bulle. Présence d’un moyen col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de caramel et de noix. Courte durée de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps et la texture sont mince. Faible effervescence en bouche. Arrière goût légèrement pétillant. (Rating #881)

Draft. Nice aroma, nice head on this one too. Appearance is not too dark, just your average transparent amber. I could smell a hint of a fruity aroma on this one. Not a heavy body on it as well. All in all pretty good beer.

12oz - light tan head of small bubbles over bright red/orange liquid. Woody, nutty nose and a classic rough hewn Marzen flavor profile. Nice and really representative.

12 oz bottle via Roth’s.Pours a clear dark amber with an average-size off-white head. Nose is malty and a little fruity. Taste starts sweet with toasted caramel malts, there is a little berry fruitiness underneath, some toffee and nuttiness, and some subtle hops in the finish. Moderate to high carbonation. Medium body. Pretty good ’easy to drink’ kind of beer.
