churchill00 (154), Austin, Texas, USA Mar 6, 2007 Never had it on tap, but pretty good right from the bottle. Very drinkable, sweet and malty. Average finish. joebrew (608), Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA Mar 5, 2007 Pours a clear orange/amber. Nice sweet nose with hints of dried fruits, nuts, toffee, and a very biscuity character. Light kinda corn like mouthfeel with a decent sweet edge to finish it out. A solid beer that has its place two months of the year. (Rating #881) mcclenw (36), Stevenson, Alabama, USA Feb 25, 2007 Draft. Nice aroma, nice head on this one too. Appearance is not too dark, just your average transparent amber. I could smell a hint of a fruity aroma on this one. Not a heavy body on it as well. All in all pretty good beer. AskForJenny (626), Ontario, New York, USA Feb 19, 2007 12oz - light tan head of small bubbles over bright red/orange liquid. Woody, nutty nose and a classic rough hewn Marzen flavor profile. Nice and really representative. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA Feb 15, 2007 12 oz bottle via Roth’s.Pours a clear dark amber with an average-size off-white head. Nose is malty and a little fruity. Taste starts sweet with toasted caramel malts, there is a little berry fruitiness underneath, some toffee and nuttiness, and some subtle hops in the finish. Moderate to high carbonation. Medium body. Pretty good ’easy to drink’ kind of beer. RJBennett (52), Hibbing, Minnesota, USA Feb 14, 2007 caramel, fruity, red, amber, frothy, aminimal head, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, light body, creamy, average carbonation, astringent, I enjoyed this beer very much, it had a good consistent flavor for the entire duration
