Bitter finish davidflores99 (225), Long Beach, California, USA Dec 27, 2006 Amber color, malty aroma, slightly sweet taste, but smooth. Wasn’t too bad of a beer. hophead75 (1945), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Dec 23, 2006 12 oz bottle split three ways. Amber in color. Aroma is very malty and sweet, touch of chocolate. Taste is the same, with a malty smooth finish. DJR (6), Stanmore, Australia does not count Dec 20, 2006 Nice burnt overtones and color, might not be hoppy enough for the level of sweetness though. Nice beer. Kevster (222), Bradenton, Florida, USA Dec 17, 2006 On tap: Pours copper with a medium off-white head leaving nice lacing. Aroma has hints of hops and fruits. Has a mild hop flavor with a touch of some fruits leaving a bitterness in the finish. Smooth and good. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA Dec 17, 2006 500ml bottle: poured golden yellow with a small white head that remains throughout the beer. Moderate herbal hops aroma with a touch of grapes and apples. Mild hop and fruit taste with just a touch of bitterness in the finish. Medium body. Good. nimrod (53), USA Dec 12, 2006 Nothing too sepcial about this beer.Pours golden brown with large white head. Some malty flavor and bready flavors with some very minute fruit flavors. Goes down smooth with no aftertaste. Overall a decent beer. beachbum25 (778), Powellville, Maryland, USA Dec 9, 2006 Updated: Nov 1, 200912 oz Bottle-Pours a clear amber/copper color w/ a moderate head. Roasted malt aroma. Subtle malt flavor w/just a touch of hops, one of the few beers where you can taste both right up front & they blend togather well. Long, sweet, roasted, grassy finish. Nice brew, I would recomend it. Would like to try it on tap-reminds me of an Amber Lager/Ale like a Yuengling.
On Tap @ Fins Rehoboth-This is about the same on tap...maybe a little more hops. Still a solid brew.
