Paulaner Oktoberfest

The aroma is sweet hoppy with strong notes of caramel. The color is dark yellow and it has a fine lasting white head. The flavor is sweet malty with subtle hints of hops and caramel leading to a smooth hoppy bitter end.

(Bottle 50 cl) Reddish golden, with lovely malty notes throughout. Some malty sweetness well balanced by the hops in a moderate bitterness. A very harmonic beer. 021199

Golden coloured. Very malty, soft, big body, smooth but with a stinging late bitterness.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear yellow with a dense white head. Slight breadish and mild hoppy aroma. Flavour is medium sweet cornish/cereal with a mild honey like herbalness and a mild hoppy freshness. Ends with a medium sweet and slight bitter hops note. Quite nice.

Bottle. Deep brown amber. Smooth and malty, nice aroma. Sweet malt taste a little hops.

Bottle. Yellowish golden colour, small white bubbly head. Aroma of hay, hops and weak malt. Flavour is hoppy and grassy, with some hints of sweet malt. Dry finish and hayish hoppy aftertaste. Uninteresting and watery.

Bottle. Bready, semi-malty aroma. Clear golden colour. The head is small, white and semi-stable. Flavour is slightly malty, at least balanced towards the malt, but nothing special. Slightly creamy mouthfeel.

Bottled. Clear yellow coloured with a white head. Aroma of malts and hops with fruity and yeasty notes. Flavour of malts and hops. Hoppy finish. Ordinary.
