Good smell, almost a sweet nutty taste, but not...it is pretty sweet though..., another great Paulaner brew through and through! Beer2000 (1865), Kristiansand, Norway

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 20, 2007 Aroma of sticky wet malt. Pour was a dark amber with no head...which contradicts the image of Oktoberfest in my mind. A busty blond German girl holding 2 mugs of beer with the heads overflowing. Taste was a little watery with little carbonation. Stale caramel malt with some suprise bitterness in the aftertaste. Not bad but I’ve had better this week. lithy (1860), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
