This is most like octoberfests should be, but still a little lacking. Nice amber color, noble hop aroma. Has right mouthfeel for octoberfest. Thickish, but not cloying, with a nice touch of dark sweet malt in the finish.

Overall I have to say I was a bit disappointed in this one. Pale gold clear under a medium-large lasting yellow white head. Very faint grain and citrus aroma. Clean crisp medium-light body. Moderately well balanced grainy malty sweet and hoppy bitter start. A milder malty cornsweet middle and medium short lasting hoppy bitter finish. Quite hoppy for Märzen.

Bottle pored a nice amber color with a smallish head and very little lacing. Aroma is of sweet malt and maybe a bit of wet dish rag. Flavor of malt, not to sweet, just right. Malt flavor sits long on the palate between drinks...good beer!

Adequate and representative of the style. Nose of malts and floral hops. Cloudy golden pour, smi-hazy, moderate off white head. Sweet amber malts, too much floral hop for my taste, some caramel sweetness, good bitter finish.

On tap at Tyler’s, poured into a tall Paulaner glass. Pours clear orange with nice white one-finger head and good retention. More focus on the malt with this one, not so much a hope taste. Would have liked a bit more citrus, but the malt profile was at least nice. Solid if a bit boring.

A clear yellow/golden colored beer, with thick white head. The aroma of a little bread, with malts, some fruits and yeast. The taste of soft malt with some fruits and hops. The aftertaste is a very little bitter with sweets.

500ml Bottle- Attractive golden coloured with mild carbonation and a small head. The aroma is malty, yeasty and has a hint of banana and grapefruit. The taste has a pleasant zing and a mild hoppiness with grapefruit featuring again. Not bad for a beer of this type.
