Nov 12, 2007 My favorite beer. I rated it higher than most people because I personally like it better than anything else I have tried thus far. Nice amber color with a light caramel head and nice lacing as it goes down. Malty and delicious!!

Jun 16, 2009 Flavors are very mild. Overall this gives the impression of a what a basic beer should be. The blandness of the main stream beers is said to be an intentional marketing ploy - "to offend as few people as possible." I believe that this beer is the best I have ever tasted which is not in conflict with that. In other words, anyone who likes the main stream beers should love this one.
If you want a lot of flavor look elsewhere.

Mar 24, 2008 This is the standard for Oktoberfest Bier. Excellent color, very true to the style. Flavor is unmatched in festbiers. As others have said below, it is the best mass at Oktoberfest.

Oct 11, 2001 This is my favorite beer and my baseline for compareing all others. I haven’t had the 2001 yet so this rating is based on 99 and 00 beer. Aroma could have had a little more malt Aroma. I think if it wasn’t filtered quite so much it would get tops on everything. A+++ beer
