Aroma of caramel and toffee. Taste is buttery and doughy. Orangish red in color. Head is average and disappates quickly. Nice offering in this style.

This was the first liter of Oktoberfest beer that I had in Munich last year. SInce then it has been one big beer fest. I tried this again recently from bottles. I love this style and this time of year. It has a huge malty, roasted sweetness. It seems a little more amber than I remember. The alcohol is apparent and pleasent. Very good tasting beer that should be consumed by the litre.

One of the true joys of autumn here. Clear amber orange body is topped by a nice white head that hangs around and laces well. Aroma is inviting, biscuity toffee and honey malt profile with floral and spicy hops. Light medium body makes for easy sipping. Taste is extremely well balanced between soft toasty malts and subtle bittering hops. Toffee and honey sweetness balanced by slightly spicy hops, accented by florals and a note of apple. Nothing exceptional here, really, just an extraordinarily well crafted and very tasty lager.

On tap at Flying Saucer in Memphis, TN. Turned me on to German beer. Great malty taste and beautiful amber color.

The Second Oktoberfest that I have had and probably the best . Excellent dark amber colour and a smooth, great taste. I drank this out of a shaker.

This is an outstanding beer. It has a beautiful color with a taste as crisp and refreshing as its aroma. Highly recommended.

Ein kraftvolles Bier mit leckerem Malz-Hopfen-Einschlag. Der Alk.-Gehalt ist nicht ansatzweise heraus zu schmecken. Die Süffigkeit für diesen Stoff ist phänomenal!

I liked this beer. Malty with enough hops to make it interesting. Full of flavor with out being overpowering. Rich amber color with a white head. Malty / carmel flaovr with the right amount of citrus hop flavor. One to put on the repurchase list.
