Quite mild, grainy, smooth and easy drinking. Unlikely to offend - this is made to be drunk in quantities. asheft (717), Marburg, Germany Dec 18, 2007 [bottle]
Inviting aroma of caramely, spicy malt laced with fresh noble hops. Crystal clear amber with foamy white top that drops to a thin cover. Strong, yet crisp, spicy malt--almost black peppery--with plenty of German hops. Slight walnut flavour playing of the noticable elevated ethanol. Also a touch of dried fruit and tobacco. Medium carbonation, medium body, spicy finish. kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: Marzenbier

Ungstrup (10855), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 4, 2007 Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, while the flavor is sweet malty, but also with notes of caramel, and a light touch of straw, leading to a dry end. BrandonB (70), Denton, Texas, USA Nov 30, 2006 Bottle. Sounding just like everyone else, a golden clear pour with a minimal head. Sweet with some hints of caramel and malts, medium bodied flavors aswell.
