Caramel and coffee malts in the aroma. Clear, brown coloured with a medium, lasting brown/off-white head. Taste is sweet, caramel/coffee malty. Roasted. Medium body, not too thin.

Bottle. Coffee malt aroma. Dark brown color - moderate head. Nice coffee malt flavor to match the aroma - just a bit on the weak side but otherwise very nice.

Clear brown/amber colour. Malty aroma with notes of toffee and coffee. Taste is coffeish, malty, sweet with hints of molasses.Roastmalty notes. Pretty nice Dunkles.

Malty aroma with some coffee and chocolate. Medium bodied. Malty flavor with pear drups and just a hint of mocha. Great Paulaner bier, a very pleasant surprise.

draught at the Paulanerbrewpub A dark malty aroma, head lingering to the end of the glass, It has a ruddy brown colour, and a tast of Dark munchener malts with light hopping, predominating fully to the long end. A Classic of this beer style.

Bottle. Clear dark copper-brown body, creamy coloured head, low persistant. Sweet malt aroma (dark bread, dough, toffee). Very clean aroma, not so complex but traditional for this style. Toasty flavor, dark bread too, medium malt-aromatic. Medium ody, smooth, finish dry, well balanced between sweet and bitter. Maybe a bit emplty mouthfeel.

Brown coloured. Malty aroma. Malty flavour with notes of caramel. An average dunkel.

Dark body and small light-brown head. Malty aroma and taste (could be more apparent) with a slightly dry and bitter finish. Thin.

nice refreshing dukel. Quite malty roasted. In spite of this, it still keeps it's freshness, which is a great advantage for this beer.

Syrupy raisony nose. Deep brown color. Taosted caramely tastes that a rather sweet and with hints of figs. Great balance and a classic munich dark beer.
