Bottle. Amber color. Yeast noted in aroma with caramel malt. Nutty, malty, some biscuit and toffee. Fairly smooth and balanced. Another low ranking for Paulaner??? Good brew.

Brotzeit is!!

On tap @ Treffpunkt Berlin. Finale lungo.

A dark reddish brown coloured beer with a thick, tan coloured head. A light roasted malt aroma, dark chocolate and nutty. Dry mouthfeel. A dry malt taste to taste, dark chocolate, nutty and caramel. Then there’s a syrupy sweetness that balances the finish. Bottle from Réal supermarket, Freising, Germany.

500 ml bottle in Mae Kasa, Thailand. Pours a reddish brown with a one finger head. Aroma not too pronounced but there’s roasted malts and caramel. Taste is sweet, malty. Quite dry. Medium carbonation. A pleasant dunkel.

Malty aroma with some coffee and chocolate. Medium bodied. Malty flavor with pear drups and just a hint of mocha. Great Paulaner bier, a very pleasant surprise.

another great beer from Paulaner, very malty and fruity aroma, a bit herbal. Taste is smooth, a bit malty, some hints of fruits and caramel, nice crispy and nutty finish... good stuff!!

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark brown with a tint of red. Tall - but collapsing - beige head. Extremely "dark" flavours of roasted malt with notes of both caramel and dark chocolate. Appears almost like a less potent Doppelbock. A very accessible and pleasant beer without much bitterness. 251002

Draught at Paulaner Bräuhaus in Munich.
Dark brown ruby coloured, medium sized tan head, mild tobacco and raisins nose. Sweet malty, caramel and milk chocolate taste with notes of dark fruits and nutts in the finish. Very good dunkel.
